mf_spectrum_legendre.pro

Purpose: 

Calculate the multifractal spectrum (Hölder exponents and Hausdorff dimensions) via Legendre transform of the spectrum of the generalized correlation dimensions D(q). 

Calling sequence:

mf_spectrum_legendre,q,dq,err_dq,alpha,err_alpha,falpha,err_falpha

Input parameters:

Dq: The multifractal Dq values for each value of the selector q' 

err_Dq: Uncertainties associated with each Dq value'

q: The array of selectors (normally positive real numbers excluding 0)

Keywords:

Output:

alpha: The spectrum of Hölder exponents

err_alpha: the error of the Hölder exponents 

falpha: the spectrum of Hausdorff dimensions

err_falpha: the error of the Hausdorff dimensions
