Name: 

dq_spectrum.pro

Purpose: 

Calculate the generalized correlation dimensions spectrum D(q) for a set of selectors q. 

Calling sequence:

dq_spectrum,c_img,q,Dq,err_Dq,bz_thres=bz_thres,toler=toler,auto_index=auto_index,help=help

Input parameters:

c_img: Br or Blos HARP cutout magnetogram or Btot, corrected for limb presence. Blos cutout should be deprojected.

q: The array of selectors (normally positive real numbers excluding 1

Keyword:

bz_thres: threshold to the magnetic flux

/auto_index: Use to automatically detect inertial range and avoid the interaction with the user. Default is to insert this manually (by selecting interactively) during the procedure

toler: the tolerance level for the automatic power law range detection

/help: Use alone to obtain the above information

Output:

Dq: The multifractal Dq values for each value of the selector q' 

err_Dq: Uncertainties associated with each Dq value'
